Ro Su Hui: Arrested as he crosses the DMZ into south Korea

Fascist Suppression of Pro-reunification Patriot under Fire

Pyongyang, July 7 (KCNA) -- The south Korean puppet group resorted to fascist suppression of Ro Su Hui, vice-chairman of the South Headquarters of the Pan-national Alliance for Korea's Reunification, who went back to south Korea via Panmunjom after wrapping up his Pyongyang visit on July 5. This is touching off towering resentment among all Koreans. The moment Ro crossed the demarcation line in Panmunjom, agents pounced upon him like a pack of wolves and wrested from his hands a bunch of flowers and a Korean Peninsula flag associated with the warm compatriotic feelings of the compatriots in the north before throwing them on the ground. They resorted to violence, wringing his neck. Not content with handcuffing him, they tied his body with a rope before throwing him into a vehicle. There were many cases in which south Korean youth and students and pro-reunification champions went back to south Korea across the demarcation line in Panmunjom only to be persecuted and thrown behind bars. But this is the first time that the pro-reunification patriot was put to such unimaginable fascist suppression in the eyes of the world. The south Korean group of traitors is bringing charges of "infiltration and escape" and "encouragement and appraisal" against Ro under the draconic "Security Law", asserting that he went to the north without going through necessary procedures and praised the social system in the north. Such wicked conservative media as Chosun Ilbo are busy kicking up an anti- DPRK smear campaign, blaming his every activity there and letting loose a cascade of vituperation against him. Not satiated with rubbing salt into the wounds of fellow countrymen grieving over the demise of leader Kim Jong Il, the Lee group threw Ro behind bars though he went back to south Korea after expressing condolences over the demise of the father of the nation. History will certainly judge the group for such crimes against the nation, reunification and ethics
